Glade-2 just in case

If you ever feel nostalgic about glade-2 under Debian 5 or 6, here’s how to build it:

  • get the latest source from
  • make sure you have libgtk2.0-dev and libxml2-dev (the former has a a number of dependencies required by glade-2 too). I have GTK+ version 2.20.1-2 under Debian 6
  • remove “#include <gtk/gtkclist.h>” from:
  • ./configure and make install will go through without errors

A further optimization consists in replacing:

	gtk_misc_set_alignment (GTK_MISC (%s), %g, %g)

	gtk_misc_set_alignment (GTK_MISC (%s), (gfloat) %g, (gfloat) %g)

Starting glade-2 sill still gives a few GTK+ warnings, but you can take from there I guess.
