Working on the C64 side of things…

Today I wrote a simple converter in Assembly language on the C64 in order to convert LN2 data files into LN3 format so that they can be used in the LN3 editor on the C64.

Old-skool editing for LN2 is now available again 🙂

I am convinced that the so called “BUG FREE PDS NINJA III EDITOR” is based on the original work of John Twiddy and that LN2 was designed using the Time Machine/LN3 format. The result was then converted to LN2 in-game format due to the fact in LN2 they had to relocate the integrator file for each level in a different place in RAM. There is evidence of the mentioned conversion within the in-game integrator files in LN2.
