Jon Wells and last Ninja 4

I was looking at Jon’s map this morning and I actually counted the number of screens: 48. That’s more than the last version of Integrator allows (32) and it’s definitely a big number. OK, a few of them might be identical, like the water screens, but the point is that it’s still too many to fit in memory, based on the number of different elements I see (plants, rocks, figures, buildings, etc.).
Just for comparison, LN3 uses around 12 screens per level. LN uses around 24 at level 1.

I like a few things that I gather from the map, like the long climbing, but letting characters walk outside of the roads is something I am not sure about, especially if there’s more sprite clipping required.

All in all, I think Jon’s plan was going to put him under huge pressure if accepted by System 3.
