Integrator 2012: more editing facilities

I had a few minutes today to review the data that LN2 uses to link screens and I figured out that by patching a single byte, whose value is unused by the game, I can easily add support in Integrator 2012 for:

  • specifying exits (number and position) for each location
  • specifying where exits lead (the location Armakuni ends up into when walking through an exit)
  • specifying the position and orientation of Armakuni after he enters a location

As usual I already have a decoder at hand as that’s not the hard bit in the process. The hard bit, as usual in the making of I2012, is about presenting the information in a concise and intuitive way along with making it simple to change things 🙂
