Host interface progress

I had some time this morning to fine tune my USB host interface mock-up. The initial software communication on top of the bus is complete: I now just need to attach an SDHC socket to my test circuit before I get to let my C64 mock-up device access card contents 🙂

If this goes well and I am happy with speed/user experience, I might rename USB-BASIC to USR-BASIC, standing for “USeR port-peripheral BASIC”, as it would allow the use of different peripherals attached to the C64’s user port (and serial port), not just USBhost-64.

Stay tuned!
