Update on the replacement device for my USBhost-64 project

It was last August when I was getting back to the replacement device for my USBhost-64 project. At the time I was distracted by my work for the crack of Rubicon, for TAPClean, and for my IFFL code, among other things.

This evening I decided to run an initial test of the hardware and here’s a sneak peek at what is coming in the near future, possibly in time for Christmas 2017.

The device is designed to allow interfacing with a wide range of mass storage devices: it’s not limited to flash memories. I am starting with support for SDHC, but that’s just one of the firmware “connectors” that I’d like to distribute with this device and is one for which I have a lot of code already written due to my development for DC2N5-LC.

Stay tuned!
