Missed out on a DC2N device? Here’s a poll you might want to check out

Alright, as I keep receiving requests for additional DC2N devices, here’s a poll with shared public results. If you are interested in acquiring a DC2N device, here’s your chance to let me know and my chance to push back due to low demand or go through a manufacturing process again.

The poll will run for 1 week exactly, starting from the date this post is published. Comments are welcome, although moderated.

    With or without case?

Hi Luigi. Any news? Is there a chance to get the unit in a case or atleast case separately?

I think poll results speak clearly: I will not be providing further devices as interest/demand is way too low to justify the effort of going through possible design adjustments (due to unavailability of previously used components) and/or manufacturing.
I guess your best option is to try and buy a second-hand device from one of its owners who are willing to sell one.

Not sure if I’m right but I guess that you would get more interest while speaking to people on groups at Facebook, forums etc. I understand that for more people the most important thing is to have something as cheap as possible, but for me this is wrong.

DC2N is simply the best solution for .tap images and it should me more recognized by community. Yet I only need a case for my unit. 🙂 Are you planning to share case project files to have possibility to print them on 3d printer?

Thank you. I honestly am not looking for wider interest. You see, it is difficult to deal with lots of people, as they usually expect a level of support they aren’t willing to pay for…

I already shared the design files for the DC2N5-LC version 1.0 case a while back (https://luigidifraia.wordpress.com/2017/08/01/dc2n5-lc-3d-printed-case-design-files-available/)…
