Misc updates

I finally caught up with device orders and decided to provide an update on my current plans.

First thing first, after 1 year and 4 months since my last change, I am changing jobs again. This means having to go through an upskilling phase again, which is expected to take quite some time and energy on my part, further reducing my availability to work on personal projects, at least for a while.

Another thing is that I saw Pro Micro boards available on AliExpress that mount a Type-C USB connector. I ordered one to check if it can be used as a drop-in replacement for the board with a micro USB connector. My first attempt was to try it in IECHost. Programming of the MCU went fine, the new board is pin compatible with the old one, however it didn’t work in IECHost. I will take traces with my logic analyzer at some point to understand what the issue is.
